New pictures

Apparently one bottle is not enough for Ben. (You can't see it but Joe is sitting next to him crying over his pilfered bottle).

The aftermath of blueberry pancakes. (I think Joe's blueberry soul patch is cute).

Newest Purchase

So about everyday, about 4 to 5 times a day, I go into the kitchen to find Ben on the floor playing in the trash. After about a week and a half of this I decide I can't take it anymore (after i found him eating something out of the garbage).

Biter Biscuits and Baths

I gave the boys biter biscuits today and they seemed to really enjoy them. However I had forgotten (since it has been over 6 years since Alisha was this age) just how messy and disgusting biter biscuits are. I think Gerber needs to put a disclaimer on the box that says "intended only for use when a bath and deep cleaning of the kitchen are planned after distribution of biscuits". They had fun though so it is all good.

The Bath After the Biscuits. Also their first bath together in the big tub.

Naked babies on the run!

The boys mad at me for locking them in their room while I cleaned up the mess in the kitchen.

Brotherly "Love"

So the competition between the twins has started already. When I was playing with the boys in their bedroom this morning they both kept trying to play with the same toy. Even when I would take the toy away and give them each a new one, one would lose interest and go after the other one's toy.

Then later today, Joe woke up from a nap and I made him a bottle and Alisha brought in Ben who had just woken up too. I went back in the kitchen to make a second bottle and heard Joe crying. Ben had crawled over to Joe and taken his bottle. Ben has done this before but the look he gave me when I walked in the room was priceless. It was a look of "What! I didn't do anything wrong!". It was very funny.

Carving Pumpkins

These are the Pumpkins that Alisha and I carved.

This is Alisha's and she carved it almost all by herself

This is mine and it took FOREVER. Not really but my hand really hurt when I was done.
It doesn't help that I'm a perfectionist and the kids were all in bed so I had time to work on it.

9 Month Well Baby Visit

So I took the boys to the doctor this morning and here are their measurements

Joe
14.5 lbs. (He grew 3.5 lbs in 3 months)
27.5 inches tall (He grew 3.5 inches in 3 months)

Ben
16 lbs. (He grew 4 lbs in 3 months)
27.5 inches tall (He grew 3.5 inches in 3 months)

They both did very well at the doctor visit. I feel bad because I promised them that they would not have to get any shots today because they are caught up on their immunizations but I had them get Flu shots. They were really good about it...Ben did not even cry...I was so proud. I got a Flu shot too.

I just realized that they are small for their age but Alisha was 16 lbs at 9 months too so I must just have small babies. At least we know that it won't last for long. Look at Alisha now...She is SO tall.

New Pictures

Here are some of the pictures that we had taken at JCPenney last week. These are not the best ones but you will have to wait until Christmas time to see those.

This is Alisha's 1st grade school picture

Alisha and a leaf that she found

It's funny too because she is wearing the same shirt in all 3 pictures but they were taken on 3 different days.

Bath Fun

Both of the boys really love the bath tub. I had the camera in the bathroom when Ben was in the tub and snapped a few pictures.

On the move...

So now Ben has started to crawl up to the couch and stand up. He also is trying very hard to walk and to stand up on his own.

Joe has decided that his favorite thing to do is suck on Ben's head as often as he can. I will pick Ben up and the entire side of his head will be soaking wet. It is pretty fun but Ben is not too thrilled about it.

Finally some more pictures

Joe and Ben just playing on the floor

Ben passed out in the high chair. He loves to just sit in the high chair and watch me wash dishes or make dinner or whatever else I'm doing in the kitchen

Joe is his cool lumberjack hat.

Growing like weeds

So Joe finally cut his first tooth a few days ago so he is playing catch up with Ben. Although he will have his work cut out for him because Ben is dying to walk. Today he crawled up to the couch and then pulled himself into a standing position. It is so crazy because he has only been crawling for a few weeks and now he is working on standing. I had better watch out...he is going to be hard to keep up with soon.

We are finally getting settled into our new place and we are very happy with all of the space we have now.

Ben makes another milestone

So Ben has cut his first two teeth. I noticed yesterday that I could see his teeth under the gum and then I looked again today and they had come through. Joe has really started to talk and he jabbers on and on all day long. He loves to talk.

Ben Ben is crawling

So last Friday Ben started to crawl. Since then he has gotten much better at it. He doesn't strait out crawl but gets up on his knees and does this inch worm crawl but it is more than an army crawl so I am very excites. He seems to be happy that he can get around a little easier now too.

Well we are not all of the way moved yet but we are close. Plus we still have a week before we have to be out of the old place so we will have plenty of time to clean. Over all I am happy with the progress we are making. We have some really great friends that have helped us out by watching the kids so we can get stuff packed and some that have helped us move. I don't know what we would have done without them.

Moving Day

So we are officially moving today. Well, at least the first few loads of stuff. We are making the big move (furniture and other big and heavy stuff) tomorrow. I will be very happy when it is 2 weeks from now and we are out of our old apartment and done dealing with cleaning and all of the hassle. I am excited to have a new place and with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathroom (one of which is a master bath). Yeah for not stepping on rubber duckies every time I go to take a shower. The picture above shows what it looks like from the outside.

I think after time you forget how much of a pain it is to actually move and all of the packing and the heavy lifting and the headache. But sometime you have to do things you don't want to so you can have a nicer apartment.

Ben's favorite thing

So this is now Ben's favorite thing...he loves to chew on a washcloth. Both boys are teething but Ben really seems to enjoy his washcloth.

New stuff for the new apartment

So we went to Salt Lake City this last weekend and went to Ikea and got some stuff for the new apartment which we are moving into in less than 3 week (and I have not packed a thing).

Here is a kitchen cart that we are probably going to put the microwave on because the new place has a small kitchen and I need all the surface area I can get.

This is a new desk and chair for Alisha's room for her computer.

I also got these high chairs for the boys. I was going to get the kind that hook onto the table but these were the same price and I can fit both on one side of the table without having to put the leaf in the table.
I am way excited to move but I am getting very anxious because I have about a million and ten things to do before we can move and with the boys and Alisha I have a hard enough time doing the everyday things.
